20th Anniversary Celebration
The Yate and Sodbury District u3a has the pleasure of inviting members to celebrate its 20th anniversary on Saturday 6th June 2026. The event will be held from 7:00pm—11:00 pm in the main Sports Hall at Yate Leisure Centre. A seated buffet will be available at 7:30pm. A bar will be provided for the purchase of drinks. Music will be provided by the local band, ‘You, Me and the Dancefloor’
As many of you will be aware, these Friday talks have proved increasingly popular with seating at a premium. In order to increase the number of seats available, the Committee has decided to dispense with the offering of refreshments. This will release significantly more space for chairs, whilst complying with the safety regulations in the Town Hall.
The doors open at 1:30pm and the talk starts at 2:00pm. It is suggested that members get there in plenty of time to avoid disappointment. It has also been decided to reserve the front row of seats for those Members with additional needs.
