The Yate and Sodbury District u3a has the pleasure of inviting members to celebrate its 20th anniversary on Saturday 6th June 2026. The event will be held from 7:00pm -11:00 pm in the main Sports Hall at Yate Leisure Centre.

A seated buffet will be available at 7:30pm and a bar is provided for the purchase of drinks with music being provided by the local band, ‘You, Me and the Dancefloor’. An area has been set aside for dancing, dress code is smart casual.

Also on the night there will be a raffle (payment by cash or card)

Tickets (£25 each) will be available from Saturday 28th February 2026 and they can be purchased by bank transfer, cheque or cash.

Cheque or cash purchases may be made at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall after the monthly speaker talks (on Fri 6th March, Thurs 16th April and Fri 8th May); or from the Pop Inn Café (near the library in Yate Shopping Centre) on Thursdays between 11:45am & 13:45pm.

Group bookings are also possible by emailing the details of the number of seats required, the group name and contact details for the lead booker (who does not need to be the group leader) to Richard Francombe at u3agroupbookings@gmail.com

Minimum group size is 6 people. Tables will seat 12 people and smaller groups will be accommodated on shared tables. Larger groups will be seated on adjoining tables. Smaller groups of less than 6 people should be able to sit together as we anticipate plenty of space available on a first come, first served basis on the evening of the event.

Tickets will need to be purchased separately and confirmation of the final numbers in a group will be needed by Friday 1st May 2026.
