Chi is a form of exercise that combines gentle physical exercise and stretching with mindfulness.. It is safe for people of all ages, as the low-impact movements are safe and gentle on your body without putting stress on the muscles and joints. More and more people have joined because their GP has recommended the benefits of Tai Chi which include improved balance, pain management, and cognitive function in people.

There are 4 Groups, Group 3 is the newest group and more suited to beginners and has been going for over a year and runs from 09.15 – to 10.15am every Tuesday. There is a maximum of 12 per group and the sessions are in the Old School Building which is next to the library on Chipping Sodbury’s High Street (by the clock tower and Tourist Information Centre). It costs £6 per session as we have a professional instructor. The group is ideal for beginners but is suitable for all ages and abilities. All are welcome.
