Pickleball is a fast-growing sport played with a paddle/racket and a plastic ball about the size of a tennis ball but with holes.

We play at Yate Leisure Centre on Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 3 pm. The playing area is the size of a badminton court but with slightly different line markings which the centre have marked out, the net is 34” high.

We always play doubles, a reasonable level of fitness is advised together with a degree of agility. Appropriate footwear is essential, i.e. non marking and safe sport shoes or trainers. You will need your own paddle, although they are available for hire at the Leisure Centre.
