Pickleball is a fast growing sport played with a paddle/racket and a plastic ball about the size of a tennis ball but with holes.

We play at YLC on Thursday morning from 10 - 12. The playing area is the size of a badminton court but with slightly different line markings which the centre has marked out, the net is 34” high.

We always play doubles, a reasonable level of fitness is advised together with a degree of agility. Appropriate footwear is essential i.e. non marking and safe sport shoes or trainers. You will need your own paddle, although they are available for hire at YLC.
