El Niño is part a regular climate oscillation in the Pacific Ocean. Current climate models suggest a strong El Niño event in late 2026, perhaps developing into a "Super" El Niño. Pat Mills will talk about this phenomenon and also how the European climate has changed in the last fifty years, noting the temperature and sea-level rise in the context of the geological record.
