We meet at Chipping Sodbury library at 7.15pm on Mondays once a month.

We read one book a month chosen by the members. Yate Library provides us with the books so we do not need to buy them. The Group Leader collects the books but members are entrusted to return them to the library by the date requested.

We discuss the books and the discussions will often move onto themes the books throw up. We read a wide and varied selection of books which range from thrillers to modern fiction to biographies to classics, really to anything of interest. We recommend books to each other. Everyone gets a chance to express their opinion and some of the group research the background of the book and its author which enables us to have a deeper understanding of the book and why it was written.
