We are a group of very mixed ability, and welcome players of all ability.  

 We always play from 12.00 pm to 2.00pm. Please do not just turn up, you may be turned away if there are already enough players for the session. We require that players have sufficient badminton skill to play a basic game. You don't have to be good. But you should be able to serve into the opposite box, return a shot that is within reach, know the basic rules of play, and have some sense of how to play with a partner (all our games are doubles). We cannot take beginners as we do not have any coaching facilities.

In order to manage numbers, members are asked to commit and pay for the sessions they wish to attend each week, after each Tuesday session there is a poll put on the Whatsapp for Tuesday badminton group, please vote yes or no, so we know the numbers attending. The cost for each session is £3.00. Fees are not usually refundable if players do not subsequently attend. We are a relatively new group and are still feeling our way, and costs will be reviewed periodically.

We currently have one court permanently booked, but normally book two as we have enough players for two courts.  If the numbers increase, we can always book another court. If you would like to join, please contact John Barr.
