Mahjong is a very popular Chinese game played throughout the world. It is played to many different rules and there are often regional variations of the game.. We have a group of 20 complete beginners who are all learning to play to the same rules.

Mahjong 1 meets weekly on a Thursday morning (1000-1200) in the Amigos Cocina Restaurant, in Chipping Sodbury. There is a small charge of £4 a head to cover the venue costs and refreshments.

We have a group of 25 players who are complete beginners and are steadily learning new hands each month. We are a very friendly and social group who play for fun and the monthly 'top scorer' certificate. The group is currently full, with a waiting list, but we welcome interest from potential new members and aim to invite them to the group for 'taster' sessions before becoming full members..
