The Discovering Villages Group is an enjoyable way of getting to know some of the Villages, Market Towns and other places of interest, typically within a 20 mile radius of Chipping Sodbury.

Whichever member volunteers to lead a visit gets to choose which Village, Market Town or other place of interest they want to explore.

We drive to the chosen Village/Town independently arriving at about 10:15. We meet at a café for a cuppa and a loo-break before setting out to explore the village/town on foot. We cover a distance of no more than a mile or two, at quite a leisurely pace, taking about 60 to 90 minutes and stopping at points of interest for the leaders to address the group. After the tour, we then adjourn for a pub lunch. Most members stay for lunch but this, of course, is optional.

The Group is fully subscribed and, as such, cannot accept new members at the moment.
